Byron Hand was born in Brooklyn, NY. He lived in New Jersey before moving to New Brunswick in 1980. Byron attended New Brunswick Bible Institute, Washington Bible College, London Baptist Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Byron pastored two churches: one in London, Ontario, and one in Illinois. He has also worked for 3 years as a hospital chaplain and as a barista at Starbucks before coming to CBC.
He watches Criminal Minds and WW2 Movies on TV. He loves to read. He works out regularly and likes to keep active. He is married to Jackie (a Registered Nurse) and has one adult daughter, Christina who is married to Matt. Byron and Jackie were blessed this year with the birth of their first grandchild, Elliana Marie.
He desires to know God through His Word and make Him known through that same word.
Jami-Ann St. Pierre
Jami-Ann has been working at Community Bible Church since 2005 in her Admin Assistant Role. She feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work at CBC and to attend the worship services on Sunday morning where the word of God is preached. Jami-Ann is happily married to Jason and they have two wonderful teenage children, Jenna and Brendan.
Favourite Artists/Bands: Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Casting Crowns, The Fray, John Legend….just to name a few.
Favourite Books: Resolving Personal Conflict (Ken Sande); 1,000 Gifts (Ann Voskamp); Suffering Well (Paul Grimmond); Amish book series
Hobbies: Singing, playing the piano, walking, reading
Sharon has been on staff at CBC since January of 1998. It brings her great joy to partner with people to help them be more effective in their ministry to our great God. Sharon and her husband, Will, have four beautiful daughters and five wonderful grandchildren, with a sixth expected in January.
Favourite food: roast beef with Yorkshire pudding
Favourite things to do: reading, sewing, piecing quilts, anything with her family, traveling
Favourite vacation (so far): Canada’s west coast
Bucket list: travel to Europe (especially Switzerland where her ancestors are from), learn how to weave, learn Greek or Hebrew
